[ it has taken him three days to convince himself to talk to all of Audentes about this — three days that he now wishes he hadn't waited, because with the information from Jason and Lucina, and their numbers already depleted because of the virus... all he's doing is taking people's attention away from finding Dr. Percy.
if it was about anyone else, he wouldn't be doing this. but right now, he couldn't care less if they find the doctor or not. finding someone else takes priority for him. ]
Hey guys... it's Stiles. [ not a great start, as far as speeches go, but maybe some of that can be attributed to the fact he sounds roughly like he's forgotten what sleep is supposed to even be. ]
Look, I know we've got a lot going on right now, finding the fake doctor, all that. But, just listen for a second, okay? Peter's missing. [ a pause as he swallows before powering on; he gives no further explanations about who exactly he's talking about: anyone who has been following Team Science should know Peter, after all. ] And not in the "he was probably transferred" way, the "he's totally infected and ran away after leaving his magitek behind" way. It's been three days, I've searched the city, like, a thousand and ten times but he's —
I don't know where he is. So if you can spare some time to help me look for him... that'd be great. [ the fact that he's actually asking for help with this tells just how dire the situation has gotten.
another pause — it almost seems like he's going to end it there, but he continues, voice tight, ] But be careful if you actually find him. He's — [ god, how does he warn people and still keep Peter's secret identity? is that even something he should be worrying about right now?? ]
He's going to be more dangerous than your usual infected person. [ there, that'll have to do. ]
Just, if you have any news about him, any leads... let me know. Please. [ with that not-at-all-desperate-sounding closing statement, he ends the post. ]
( ooc: so peter is infected and needs to be found, if you'd like to volunteer for actual threads w the infected party comment to the ooc post and/or hit up katy, or if you want to thread out actual searching hit me up here! )

Well, no reason why I can't pull a bit of double duty. I'll be havin' the delight of hanging around the sewers, but I think I'll have enough vision above while I'm at it. [He doesn't clarify how, exactly, but there you have it.]
If I caught sight of 'im, you're the first to know.
audio;
(of course, the true irony here is that Peter is, in fact, in the sewers himself, but hindsight 20/20...) ]
Man, the sewers suck... good luck. [ with washing the stench off your clothes or with the actual search for the doctor? maybe both. ]
... thanks. I just want to find him before he hurts anyone. [ anyone else, really, but that's not relevant information. ]

[Twisted Fate's appearance changes into... well, Peter. Maybe a little more smug looking than typical.]

I feared the worst when he fell out of contact with the team, but. At least he is alive.
[Maybe. For now.]
I cannot aid in your search, I am sorry. Please keep us informed of any progress.
audio;
[ he refuses to contemplate the alternative, even with the radio silence that has been the past three days. it's fine. it has to be fine. ]
Hey, no, you're doing more than enough. Your job is the most important of all of us... don't worry, okay? We'll find him. He'll be fine.

.... And then we'll give him an earful! [#helping]
audio;
Ha, yeah. You think if we yell in unison it'll get through to him better?
[ honestly, he doesn't intend to yell at Peter at all — he'll feel bad enough even without that. all he wants is to make sure he's alive, safe, to be able to hug him and see that he won't hurt anyone, that no one will try to hurt him, either. ]
... thanks, Maya. [ she can still hold on to the optimism — it's making him feel a little bit better, too. ]

Do you think that's why he doesn't want to be found? He knows he'll be dangerous?
voice;
... yeah. He's probably locked himself away somewhere so he wouldn't hurt anyone. [ and that's all his fault, for making him lash out at him in the first place, making him feel like he needed to hide from the world in case he'd end up hurting someone else, too. ]

[Is everyone who's working on the cure sick? It's starting to seem that way.]
I wanna help find the doctor, but it might be better if I'm on this for most of the time. Do you know where he might have had a plan?
audio;
... great, well, he neglected to mention any details about that plan. [ in other words: no. if he had any idea, he'd have searched the place already. ]
I don't want to keep you from helping out trying to find Dr. Percy... but honestly? I'd feel better knowing I've got you with me on this.

Do you think he wants to be found?
[ he can track, if necessary, but something tells him that Peter has his own ideas. ]
no subject
even so, his voice betrays just the slightest touch of relief when he responds, ]
... no. [ it's not the answer he wants to give, but it's the truth. ] He's probably locked himself off somewhere... but I know that even if he had a plan, he wasn't prepared to enact it. Which means he hasn't had the chance to think it through, or make it foolproof, or something else — something's going to go wrong, and we have to find him before it does.

[ despite Koltira's words, when Stiles responds, it's with his tone slightly softer, quieter. ] You can take down those who are infected without killing them, I've seen that. If you wanted to help, I wouldn't say no. But seriously, knowing you're on the Dr. Percy case here... that's good. That's important, if we want to stop this whole thing.

how far gone has he been this whole time? why didn't he say anything?
why didn't stiles?
lance feels a flare of anger smother the prickling of panic this announcement spurred in him, but somehow, thankfully he manages to stamp that down too. at least for the time being. ]
Hey, [ his voice croaks a little. he'd seen keith respond, and like stiles he feels a little better knowing that some extension of him (not even just because of them, but that keith also represents team voltron in general) is out there, helping... ] Good luck, man.

What does Peter look like?
[Then, because his voice alone might not be enough to clue Stiles in...]
It's Oliver. From the coffee shop.

[ he's actually so surprised he momentarily snaps out of the general anxiety-slash-worry-slash-borderline-panic that's been taking over his mind lately. ] Holy shit, man, I honestly thought I'd never talk to you again.
[ BUT SINCE THEY ARE maybe he should.... focus on the subject here, considering the subject is. actually the one single most important thing to him right now. ] Right, yeah, let me send you a pic — [ which he does, promptly. it's a good thing their magitek takes pictures, now! he's definitely snapped one or two of Peter... or twenty... ]

[It's not going to be Joseph's primary concern in all honesty. The idea of chasing after a specific infected does not sound like Joseph's idea of a good time, and he's barely got his feet under him as far as he's concerned, but that's not any excuse not to at least try. Sorta. Halfway-ish.]
no subject
Yeah, I kinda neglected to address that part. I mean, Twisted Fate kinda did before, you'll be able to see his response, but — here. [ it's a good thing their magitek now allows for pictures, as he definitely has some of Peter, one of which he sends over to Joseph. ]

I'm accustomed to "more dangerous than the usual". I've contended with opponents whose strength is many times that of a human, and I heal quickly, so I think I can be of use here.
[And as they'd discussed this previously regarding that elusive Percy fellow-]
I've spent time with Peter in the squidge park, so I know his scent. [One of the questionable perks of being a ghoul. Thank goodness they've been over this part already] Do you think he'd be more likely topside or underground? I'm pretty mobile, so heights aren't a concern.
audio;
it's a relief, to see Haise responding — he already knows just how useful his abilities can be... there are others who have agreed to help, too, but only a few of them Stiles would actually believe to be capable of matching up to Peter in a fight. and as much as he'd like to believe it won't come to that... well. ]
Yeah, you'd probably be able to... detain him. [ nicely put. ]
I think he'd be somewhere where he could, like, lock himself into and not get out that easily... Reika suggested something like a bomb shelter. But if he gets out — then it's anyone's guess. He could be anywhere.
