Hello everyone! This is Reika.
I have the ability to teach techniques known as Blood Arts to other people. They're kind of like 'weapon special moves'. If you have a sword or spear that you're used to wielding, it can be used to shoot pressure waves out from it or strengthen your swings.
[ There's a short clip attached here of her holding a baseball bat and using it to fire off a rapid series of silver crescents. ]
With the situation back in Oska, I'd like to help distribute this skill to as many people as possible. It takes time to train and learn, but I hope it'll be enough to have it ready when we arrive.
Please let me know if you're keen. I'll be here to answer any questions you have!
[ ooc: Reika can teach people Blood Arts! Right now it's restricted to humans due to how it's imprinted into the person's cells, but I'll be looking into getting an upgrade to that via AC bank. Each skill costs 75 coins in the bank too, but I can help cover the cost if you'd like. ]

[Insert pic of the basic pistol ALASTAIR gifted him]
this shit is practically an antique in my time

I guess we could try using the gun as a catalyst for shooting pressure waves? If that was what you had in mind

i don't have any better ideas and DEFINITELY don't want to die by robot in oska

[Well, he's out already — he uses his fists and feet.
But color him curious regarding the theory itself]
Wouldn't it take more than a few days to pick up a skill like that? Especially with varying aptitudes.

I'm still figuring out how it works with people not from my world, so maybe some of us might learn it faster than others?
no subject
It stands to reason, since no one would have the exact same skills or abilities.

There's a library in Oska that has more information but... getting there might take time

We've been together a lot so it should be easier to teach it to you
no subject
You think so?

The longer we spend with each other, the more likely it is. It might sound weird but that's how it's worked back home :|a

Even if it takes more time than anticipated, I hope it can be useful in future missions.

Are pressure waves all it can do?

If there's anything you aren't certain of, you can tell me.[ They trust each other enough to do that. Julius is rusty in combat, but he's certain he can be of help here. ]

Thanks. I'm a bit anxious...
[ She's mostly kept to a very small circle, so talking to people she doesn't know well is still a challenge. ]

You'll be fine. [He's trying to sound reassuring like he always has.]
no subject
I hope so.
[ it's by no means his fault but. Too many people, especially after what's been discussed (and yelled about) on the network. ]

We've trained together a while back, I think if we continue, it should be possible.
