Hello everyone! This is Reika.

I have the ability to teach techniques known as Blood Arts to other people. They're kind of like 'weapon special moves'. If you have a sword or spear that you're used to wielding, it can be used to shoot pressure waves out from it or strengthen your swings.

[ There's a short clip attached here of her holding a baseball bat and using it to fire off a rapid series of silver crescents. ]

With the situation back in Oska, I'd like to help distribute this skill to as many people as possible. It takes time to train and learn, but I hope it'll be enough to have it ready when we arrive.

Please let me know if you're keen. I'll be here to answer any questions you have!

[ ooc: Reika can teach people Blood Arts! Right now it's restricted to humans due to how it's imprinted into the person's cells, but I'll be looking into getting an upgrade to that via AC bank. Each skill costs 75 coins in the bank too, but I can help cover the cost if you'd like. ]

[Right now, she's in her bedroom in the space she's staying at with Reika and Julius. There's perhaps a couple of books next to her bed, and some textbooks from school. It's....been a while since she did homework, but Sakura is lying on her bed, lower legs in the air as her feet swing as she talks, one hand cupping her chin and cheek to prop herself up.]

So...I know things are tense right now. I'm not sure if there's a way to figure if someone is sick unless they start showing symptoms of this, but. I am worried. If people on either side of this um, what was it called, quarantine? If they're separated from their family, from their friends, they will get more upset. I'm not sure if there's really anything we can do, anything I can do without making things worse. I know this is for a reason, to stop the others from getting sick, but....

I have my healing from ALASTAIR but I'm not sure if that's going to be enough. Or...I'm not sure how much if any of my magic I should use. At least, not in public. Things seem pretty normal here, almost like back home, except this isn't Tomoeda. It's been a while since I was back at school too. But I think I'm doing alright? So far. I don't want to get in trouble for skipping class but I also feel like I could be helping more by doing something about this virus.

[She pouts, pausing for a moment as she glances back down in front of her.]

Oh! But Graham-san and I have been doing some crosswords together! That's sort of been helping with my English. They're pretty fun, actually! I can read some of the questions out and how long those words are if others want to help?

[As...well as something of a distraction at least. Maybe.]

[ Koltira's coming to you live from the latest addition to Oska: a blacksmith's forge, newly constructed on the castle grounds. He's standing over the anvil, hammer in hand, his implacable expression as unreadable as ever. His saronite breastplate is on the anvil, repaired back to its dark and ominously gleaming glory. The hearth behind him blazes with hungry fire, and the stone walls--already black with soot--are hung with various tools for cutting, shaping, and otherwise manipulating metal.

He lifts the hammer--a tremendous, black thing that looks like it could easily smash someone's head in--such that its oak handle rests against his bare shoulder. He's wearing only a pair of rough black trousers, slung loose on his hips; his pale hair is tied back into a ponytail. The glowing blue tattoos across his chest and forearms cast shadows in the dim forge light, evoking the silhouettes of blades over the cream-colored bricks.

Friendly and innocuous, as usual. ]

I asked Lloyd for a forge, and my petition was granted.

[ He taps the breastplate with his free hand. ]

I needed to repair my armor after answering Achilles's challenge.

[ Koltira speaks tonelessly, as though referring to ancient history, though the fight weighs on him still. He pauses for just a second, his long ears twitching, and then he moves on. ]

I have materials enough for other repairs, should you require them. If you'd like a weapon crafted, I can accommodate a few requests on that score as well.

[ He bows his head slightly. ]

You need only ask.

[ This is pretty formal for an introduction but she doesn't really know how else to address a large group of military strangers. Best to just post it and hope for the best... ]
Hello, everyone. This is Kagura Reika. I'm a recent arrival to Audentes; I would like to request for assistance regarding a few things.

First is acquiring a sword or a weapon of a similar size. My own was deemed unusable, and I'm looking for a replacement as well as anyone who might be willing to train with me during the downtime we have now.

Secondly, I'm seeking to learn how to cook proper food beyond simple meals. Please let me know if you can do so and have some time to spare, I'll repay any help given to me.

Thank you.

[Hanzo can be seen in the kitchen, in the middle of cooking, apparently. In the background, one might the familiar signs of Chihiro walking past, assisting the surly archer.

What might stick out to those who know Hanzo is a really obvious haircut and earring additions.]

Sometime ago, I had said I would make this team a meal. I had meant to, after Zeta 12, but there were unexpected interruptions.

There is time now. And Chihiro-san has been kind enough to assist me.

Should you like, there is okonomiyaki in the kitchen. There are variations, depending on your preference.

[He turns one over.]

If you are not familiar with it, as I expect many of you are not, it is similar to a pancake, but it is savory, often with cabbage and meat. I am able to do variations, if needed.

...In any case. Consider yourself invited to a meal. Or do not.
