hey guys listen, i know kagari suggested no jewel comms but it’s an emergency
i need to know what are some fun party games to play in solitary
games not involving cards, i asked the guards for some cards and apparently that’s not allowed for some reason
or wait how about this, teach me your favorite song. i did all the ones i know like 10 times each already, the guards requested i learn new ones.
sorry that's a lie actually the guards ignore it, but i like to think they're sick of the ones i know and want fresh material

OR, idea, what if we mount a break-IN mission? break into solitary, get me the fuck out. it’ll be like a practice run then we can get back to work on the break out ideas after that.

Rest assured, I've never heard of country, never mind listened to it. Although I did reside underground until ending up on Audentes.

[I mean he probably heard some industrial and metal stuff in passing whilst stalking around the underground, but in the Below? Yeah. Just classical.]

And whilst I wouldn't say I've avoided it since joining ALASTAIR, I haven't given it much consideration either.

[Whilst he's not about to pack in the classical music any time soon, he can't say he dislikes this, even if the subject matter is a little outside of his experiences. At least, some of the subject matter.

Not the pieces I know, no. Although I know a little opera, too, and that has lyrics.

My favourite one? It's hard to choose the one I like the most. I suppose it's a tie between Tosca, Rigoletto, and Don Giovanni. Pick one and I'll tell you what it's about, if you're not already aware.

Not the kind I expect you're thinking of. It's a Spanish title in this case, despite the Italian name. It's based on the legend of Don Juan, you see.

It's essentially about a young libertine, Don Giovanni, the scourge of women throughout Europe. He commits a murder in the first act, yet proceeds to get away with it throughout, whilst seducing women and continuing to cause trouble for everyone else in the cast. Until finally, refusing to repent or redeem himself, he's dragged to hell during a dinner party.

Entertaining, no?

[...there's a length delay this time, as he thinks it through. Considers. He's honestly never even thought about trying before-- why would he? He's a weapon, built with only one real purpose in mind, and it's never so much as occurred to him to give anything so frivolous as singing a go.

But eventually, he does try. And you know what? He's not bad. Not so good he could give up his day job or anything, but at the very least his voice is strong, and he can carry a tune.
