[about four or so hours after the infiltration of the Mothership mission begins, a message appears on the network. it's in text, mostly because. . . uh. talking into one's magitek about an undercover mission while surrounded by enemy agents is probably not wise]

So has anyone come up with a code name for themselves yet?

An undercover spy mission seems like a good chance for just that. Think about it-- you can finally be the person you've always wanted to be with the name you've always wanted to have. Viking. Sapphire. Velociraptor. I think the possibilities are pretty endless.

Though it'd probably be nice to meet all of you without the mask of a code name, first. I keep running into people I don't know, and I can't tell who is an ally and who isn't.

I was thinking my character worked for an organization where all the agents were named after numbers.
002.
The second agent.
001 died in the line of duty, and it's left him scarred for life.

Aren't our usernames a sort of code name? Although yours would make for a pretty lame one. If I had to use one, I guess I'd stick with 'Hemlock'.

Not that there's much point to code names, since we're skipping from universe to universe all the time. We need to keep our affiliation with ALASTAIR on the downlow more often than our actual identities.

It could be, if people didn't pick silly things like 'i can b ur daddy' and 'OHNO'. Or their actual names*.

Because it's pointless and kind of confusing? Code names only matter when your actual identity/reputation is at stake.

But I'm getting the impression you just want to use a code name because it sounds cool.

* Actual name usernames are superior to goofy joke usernames
