I've seen and heard a lot of talk over how we're meant to accomplish this task.

To those of you who are new and those who have been here from the start, I'm curious- ideally, how would you like to see such a goal accomplished?

As for peace, does anyone know what the opposing sides want?

As far as I'm aware, there's animosity amongst all three factions. The Order of the Chimera claims to want to bring "justice" to Chantes, but it is their leader who made the sun disappear.

What do warring factions ever want of each other?

The first part seems self-explanatory. The second one, though, maybe that's metaphorical? I don't think we really have to raise up an entire sun into the sky, do we?

In this case, I would take it to be literal.

Magic made it disappear; I would assume we're meant to reverse it.

I'm not sure how to stop the fighting besides trying to support them to talk to each other about why they are disagreeing like this. And the sun...I'm not sure either. I have the 'Light' Card, but I don't know if that would be strong enough to do something like restoring the sun.

That's such a broad question, isn't it? Does it matter? Whatever we idealize to accomplish that goal will not be what we want it to be.

The sun must be addressed before anything can be accomplished for peace- if the plant life begins to die then so goes the rest.

Magic begat it, and magic must be used to conclude it.

Michel may eventually shed some light on the matter, but I believe it should be our first priority.

I have been trying to find that answer for myself. The situation is complex.

It is no more complex than other situations many have likely left in their own homeworlds.

If peace is truly what ALASTAIR desires for us to bring to this place, any answer we find must be supported by those who live here.

The destruction of a sun is a cataclysmic event. Therefore, it appears to me that there is most likely an obstruction of some sort in this planet's atmosphere, rather than a problem with the star itself.

Solving the problem is difficult without knowing more details.

IDEALLY, we'd nuke one faction and save ourselves the collective headache. Realistically, the concept of peace doesn't work off paper, so this whole thing is a waste of time.

And which one, would you say, seems to be the most likely candidate for that?

Aside from restoring the sun, it's hard to say. I can't say I see peace being restored without a few casualties.

Peace rarely comes without sacrifice.

Restoring the sun seems to be a more concrete goal by comparison.
