text; un: shitpost king

if anyone can tell me how to get videogames or proper internet on this thing i will do a dare of ur choice and let u record the results for posterity/blackmail/whatever u want

in the meantime i've got way too much time to kill so let's play would you rather

for those of you poor souls who've never known the glory of the internet, it goes like this: someone posts two things (the more ridic the better) and people respond with their decision on which they'd rather do and then come up with their own two things

it ends up with us all judging each other's life and choices and nobody lives happily ever after (◡‿◡✿)

i'll start with something appropriate to our upcoming ~mission~

would you rather...
be eaten by a zombie, or burnt at the stake?

What the hell did he just read. Every little tidbit of information--(A genetically-engineered, mass-produced food? No imports and exports? People not being able to fit into society for committing a crime?)--just makes this person's world seem like the set up of one of those pretentious novels about how perfect societies are a dangerous fallacy.]

I... see.
Although I'm afraid you've lost me at "Psycho Pass".
What is that? Why would it be disturbed from committing a crime?

That and it's unfortunately dangerous to go without sleep for too long.
Go too long without and your senses just get fucked up.

[And then there's this cooking offer? He's not sure what to make of it. Wh...y is the self-appointed shitpost king from some kind of bizarre dystopia offering to cook for him. Maybe he shouldn't have mentioned his appetite problems.]

Oh. Well. I've been doing okay here.
I'll keep you in mind if I need assistance.

[Well all of this. Is incredibly unpleasant. What the actual fuck is wrong with this particular universe? What a terrible, easily-abused system. Fugo reads the message twice, then a third time. At the end he comes to the same result: he's angry, in a sour and dissatisfied way, about this world where people are arrested and imprisoned for crimes in potential.]

I am actually at sort of a loss as to how to respond to all of that.

It sounds incredibly stifling.

[How. Does this keep getting worse? Christ, the multiverse is fucking terrible.]

Sure. Let's call it a perk.

I hope I'm not being presumptuous in saying this, but I'm just going to assume you're glad to be here rather than there.

[That's... very brave of this person, to be outspoken on the network about his opinions of ALASTAIR despite the oppressive and restrictive nature of where he came from. Fugo's personally not so sure of them either, of this too-convenient set of circumstances that allows them to gather up "volunteers" for their teams; nor does it help, he supposes, that he finds it hard to trust people who claim they're working for the greater good. But that's an opinion he'll be keeping close to his chest until he has evidence to prove it one way or the other.]

Yes, that's understandable.
"Better the devil you know."

Would you feel differently if your friends were here?

Funny. It's the opposite for me.
A friend of mine is here and, while I'm very glad he's here, honestly his presence is a stronger motivation to find a way home than it would be if I were on my own.
unholey: (CHATTER ☠ like old friends)

Technically speaking, although I've been asking you questions for a while now, I suppose it's my turn.
But since this is a game that theoretically can just go on without stopping, given that our conversation has meandered away from it and I've got some research to get back to, I think I'll pass.

It was interesting, though.
