( Peter is clearly on top of something high when he turns the magitek on, magitek that isn't his but anyone who knows him will recognize him, whether his name is paired with the message or not. he hesitates before he starts, but he's hesitated about a week now. he's sort of out of hesitation time. )
I am guessing most of you remember me, but if you don't, my name is Peter. I just... I wanted to apologize. I get that doesn't mean much, considering how many people I hurt and I should have seen it sooner and prevented it in the first place. ( he shrugs, looking down and his shoulders in a weary slant. ) I'm still sorry. If you got caught up in it, or... you know someone that was. Sorry won't make up for it, but I... I'll do whatever it takes to make sure it never happens again.
( it means more honesty than he's ever had on a large scale, and that's the terrifying part of all this. he doesn't see an option in it anymore. ) I'm sorry I didn't talk about... what I can do. It's a long story. ( a long story with dead girlfriends, so no, he doesn't wanna super get into that part. ) I should have said something before it got so bad. It's too late to go back, but maybe I can say something now. If you want to know, I guess I'll try and answer.
( he looks uncomfortable, but hey. it's at least a start. last but not least, though, he sighs and rubs a spot behind his ear. ) If you don't want anything to do with me, after... ( after he went feral and tried to eat people, is the part he's not saying, ) I get it. I'll try and respect it, if I know, too.
( and, last but not least... ) I think we should consider the endgame of the people that were effected by Bristol. There's a lot to deal with after you get the cure, especially those in late stages of infected. ( speaking from experience... cough....... ) If we can get donations together, provide any kind of support for the people that got sick or ... lost someone. If we can I think we should.
( Peter definitely feels like he's talked enough (for prob the second time in his entire life, and coincidentally the first time was just a few days ago, w e i r d), so with that he's done. at least for now. he probably has a mystic samurai coach to keep an eye on, anyway. she might claim to be petersitting but if anyone is at risk of falling off the building, it's not Peter.
because he doesn't fall off of buildings, he jumps off of them completely intentionally. )

( granted, those that lost themselves to taxara didn't get a chance to come back from it, but that doesn't defeat the point. )

[And he doesn't explain that.]
But sure. Tell me a bit about the Secret Life of Peter Parker. If you're up for it, brainstorm.

( it's cool he won't ask. to be frank he prob doesn't wanna know. )
What do you want to know? ( look!!! he doesn't want to talk about his life, he wants to talk about his powers. for that matter, want is just a real strong word here. )
no subject
Suppose knowin' your powers would be nice. We'll do a trade, you an' me. You talk, I'll give a little bit back.
Hell knows I got a lot to give, in the right circumstances.

I know I had to help many children recently as they were separated from their parents, left all alone. It may not be much, but I would like to pay for and offer stuffed toys so they may have more chance of a good night's sleep. Night lights may also be useful, so I shall see what I can find. For many it may still be a little dangerous to venture out, so I do not mind trying for myself.
WEEPS??? HOW DID I MISS THIS
( it's hard to even think of the kids that had gotten to the late stages of infection. he's having a hard enough time dealing with what he got up to, how could a child rationalize it? )
because you don't love me anymore 8"(
[ She isn't getting to this on the network though. ]
Children have particularly vibrant imaginations, so I would wish to offer anything that would offer them comfort.
I DO PLEASE BELIEVE ME

Thanks. And thanks for seeing that the cure got finished. I might not be here if it were not for you and Sieglinde.

[a fact he'd argued to Chihiro back in Perdition's Rest, and once again he's been showed out (publicly too! that child...). there's still plenty he'd rather keep secret, but he doesn't risk activating his bankai under duress. if he weren't so dangerous even without Benihime, there would be no issue.]
I'm just glad we made it in time. She was the last one standing there for awhile, and a girl with a weaker resolve might have cracked under the pressure. But really we all did our parts- you and Sonia-san as well.

we could probably do more to help connect those that lost each other. i'm sure the pd is swamped enough as it is.
no subject
We don't have to worry about long hauls here, so that might be nice, if we can help connect these things for people in the short term.

[ because there is no guarantee that the money she possesses now is any good in the next world they go to after this one... and she has plenty to spend on things for herself and her friends with there still being enough left over to justify such a question.
and if there are families in need of help, children who may have been orphaned... she won't turn her back on them, even if it means parting with her hard-won earnings. ]

The damage here runs deep. Medical bills, then the cost of psychological recovery, reimbursing lost wages... anything you can give would benefit these people.
