The view is a large machine in the middle of the woods. It's crudely constructed, with loud, grinding gears and exhaust tubes belching smoke. There are three figures scurrying about -- Dipper, Shiki, and Hide, for those of you who would recognize them -- pulling levers and turning cranks and struggling to hear each other over the machine's groaning. Jars of fairy goop hang off the thing like lanterns in a coal mine.]

[The view jerks, then readjusts as the sky comes into focus.]
Thanks to my genius and everybody else's scrappy, can-do attitude, we're about to make scientific history. By which I mean w-we're about to blow this bullshit away.
[His hand enters the frame. He is flipping off the sky.]
Engage Operation: Fuck You, Magic!
[The frame stays centered on the sky, though the machine's groaning reaches almost deafening levels. Above the cacophony, there's a high-pitched whining: something is warming up. All over Chantes, the ground shakes.
Then bright green fills the screen and everything is so loud that it's almost silent. Those of you who are at a distance may see a gigantic green beam shooting into the sky just before everything turns bright white for a few long seconds.
And suddenly, there is light. Stars. Two moons. The sky is back.
82736775 is laughing maniacally. He swings the frame around to the giant machine, which has blasted wide open: smoking panels have fallen to the ground, exposing frayed wires. His assistants are also on the ground, looking dazed.]

The well overdue reunion of land and sky is a significant accomplishment. However, surely you realize it is not the sole objective of our mission in Chantes, correct?

I have a few ideas to throw around. They'll work. Well, probably.

Point one. There have to be people around Chantes who are half-goblin and half-human but aren't part of the Order of the Chimera. I've been trying to search for them. If we can find some and speak with them, we may have a greater chance of convincing both groups to listen.
Point two. There must be humans and goblins living in the city who would prefer for this whole conflict to stop, and who want to set peace in motion. If not in the past, then now. We need to make contact with them, as well.
Point three. We should— [uh oh, she's stepping over a tangled bunch of branches.] —attempt peace talks with the King and his people. We won't have a peace that lasts unless we explore every option, and everyone is on board.
We can do it. After all, not all of us are human, and I'd argue we've been doing pretty well for ourselves.

The subject of the video, though they might be cloaked, makes themselves as an intellectual pe- no, not a peer. A rival. An intellectual inferior, compared to his genius. Eggman observes the video carefully, taking notice of every little detail. The machine. It's function. The three figures scurrying about. That crude gesture that sneaks into the frame for the briefest of seconds.
Perhaps it's the secrecy of this that intrigues him, or perhaps it's just the need to gain some sort of figure to antagonize. Otherwise, it prompts him to test the water.
