if anyone can tell me how to get videogames or proper internet on this thing i will do a dare of ur choice and let u record the results for posterity/blackmail/whatever u want
in the meantime i've got way too much time to kill so let's play would you rather
for those of you poor souls who've never known the glory of the internet, it goes like this: someone posts two things (the more ridic the better) and people respond with their decision on which they'd rather do and then come up with their own two things
it ends up with us all judging each other's life and choices and nobody lives happily ever after (◡‿◡✿)
i'll start with something appropriate to our upcoming ~mission~
would you rather...
be eaten by a zombie, or burnt at the stake?

We are a mission team, after all. I don't think talking about death as a joke is something that crosses our minds.
[ People died. ]

i mean u could answer with whatever, but it was just u kno
a hypothetical
it's not like there aren't a billion zombie apocalypse stories in fiction

[ She's just kind of inwardly unsettled because death is a touchy subject for both Julius and herself. ]
I guess it's just a sort of 'all contingencies' thing.
no subject
Everyone's going to die someday, the way he sees it. Getting upset about it in the abstract is wasting the time you have.]
if u don't like the question u can come up with a new one
i don't really care
i'm just bored

Do you read?
no subject
mostly manga and stuff
idk if they have those here

Sure. Take care.

He could just have the kitchen magic him up some food, but it's not as satisfying as making it with his own hands, he's found. So he's in the kitchen making himself some of his best dish--taco rice. Best way to shake off a bad mood is with a food you enjoy, right?
He's just about finished when he sees someone else enter the kitchen; he and Reika have never met in person, so he doesn't recognize her immediately. Still, he offers:]
Want some?
[Because another great way to improve your food is to see other people enjoy your cooking, too.]
yooo
Oh, thank you. You're very kind.
[ She replies with a slight bow. He's certainly not the strangest person she's met in the kitchens, so she's more willing to take his word that it's actually food and not a prank. ]
What did you make?
that was supposed to say improve your MOOD wow self
[Very Kind people aren't latent criminals. Very Kind people probably aren't so unaffected by death, even in the abstract. Kagari knows he's an asshole.]
It's taco rice.
[He grabs a plate, a serving spoon, and some chopsticks from the magic kitchen (does it spawn culturally appropriate utensils for the user, who knows, let's pretend it does), portions some of the food out for her, and hands it to her.]
Good, right? It's my best dish.
I SAW NOTHING
Oh!
[ She's admittedly never heard of 'taco rice' but it looks not much like a taco. Clearly, a mystery, and probably a foreign food. Which means she should try it. ]
It is really good. Could you teach me how to make it?
[ it's not Italian, but she should have more things in her arsenal. ]
ghosty fingers
[He's not exactly a great teacher or anything, but he could at least show her the ingredients and steps and such?]
Are you used to cooking at all or would this be starting from scratch for you?
no subject
[ She has to be or she can't feed her teammates. In any case, she should thank her benefactor: ]
By the way, what's your name?
no subject
[What's writing things down with pencil and paper he's nOT A CAVEMAN.]
And I'm Kagari.
no subject
Hello, Kagari-san. I'm Reika.
[ The girl he talked over the network!! Which means she'll give him another slight bow as acknowledgement. ]
It's nice to see you in person.
no subject
Oh. Hey, Reika-chan.
[But standing around and think-typing a message to her over the jewelry now would be awkward, so:]
Actually, I'll show you how to do it. C'mon.
no subject
Oh, you would? Thank you...
[ It seems like she's pretty much imposing on him, but if he's willing then she supposes it would be rude to not follow. ]
Have you eaten already?
[ If so, maybe she can take some back for Julius. ]
no subject
[She had shown up just as he was finishing, but he didn't mind sharing, either.]
Soooo the first part is getting the ingredients, of course.
[Which is easy, because he just sort of has to think them?? at the kitchen??? and then they show up in the shelves/fridge....]
Heat up that pan for me, would you? While I shred the cheese and chop up the lettuce.
no subject
Of course. [ She's still amazed at how fast this place produces the things they need... still, she gets to work rather quickly, and he's able to tell that she's experienced. ] What type of cheese do you usually use?
no subject
[Japan used to import most of its cheese and now that trade no longer happens, it's probably some rare-ass shit in 2112. But let's say Kagari mentioned some kind of cheese he likes using anyway because maybe some rich asshole decided to make a business swindling rich people with a home-made cheese-making business and enforcers can save up to order that shit online with the salary that they do get or something, waves hands.]
no subject
Reika is the naturally silent type, so she won't bring up much conversation unless Kagari starts first. He must still be in a not-so-good mood after the network post, anyway. ]
